Roam Atlas helps you discover camping places and understand what we know about them. It is a planning aid, not a guarantee of access, fit, road condition, weather safety, or cell coverage.

Rig Fit

Fit compares your Rig Profile only against posted length (or similar) evidence we have for a place. When measurements are missing, Fit stays insufficient information — never a green light. Always confirm height, weight, turn radius, surface, and on-site rules.

Campability and weather

Campability summarizes assigned forecast comfort (temperature, wind, precip). It is not a go / no-go authority. Check official weather and land-manager notices for hazards, closures, fire restrictions, and flood risk.

Connectivity

Modeled cellular coverage, when shown, is labeled as modeled — not observed. If connectivity features are off, we do not invent coverage. Expect dead zones even where models look promising.

Roads and forest access

MVUM and similar overlays show legal motor-vehicle designations, not current passability, clearance, or seasonal gates. Confirm with the managing agency before committing a large rig.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for safe driving, overnight legality, reservations, fees, and respecting private property and public-land rules. When in doubt, call the operator or agency and verify on arrival.
